About the HRF
The HRF is a demand driven facility supporting AusAID and other clients' (approved by AusAID) requests for technical expertise and assistance through a Help Desk. The HRF has strong specialist health and HIV knowledge and established links within the health and HIV sectors both in Australia and internationally.
The HRF provides a user-friendly, administratively-light mechanism for engaging quality assured experts in health and HIV - including identifying, contracting and mobilising a broad range of health and HIV expertise (from Australian and international sources) in a timely manner.
The HRF can also provide information on health and HIV by conducting literature searches, undertaking analysis and synthesis of material into short reports or briefing documents, and providing professional development services for staff on health and HIV issues.
Examples of how the HRF will assist AusAID include engaging a team of experts to do a review of a health activity in country, providing a literature review or briefing on a particular health or HIV topic, or answering a quick query about health terminology or providing statistics of disease prevalence in a country to use in a briefing.
AusAID staff should login to access full information on the HRF’s procedures and range of services.
